The Round Table was held in June in conjunction with the All-Partners Meeting. The participants of the All-Partners Meeting have been meeting on a monthly basis since the beginning of the project. In addition to organizational topics, this steering committee primarily considers the progress of content within the workstreams. The meeting took place for the first time in hybrid form. The onsite part of the meeting was held by Robert Bosch GmbH as the consortium leader.
The All-Partners Meeting was followed by the first Round Table. For this purpose, Robert Bosch GmbH presented the development in the field of multi-agent-based systems, in particular the 1:10 City Model. With the help of this test vehicle environment, a basic mobility ecosystem (parking, charging, driving) is simulated both physically and by means of an SiL environment. Here, autonomously driving vehicles move in the test setup, where the necessary protocols and interactions (e.g. ETSI MEC, V2X of e.g. Lidar sensors) are tested.
A lively discussion followed, especially since other partners are actively working on similar issues – also outside SofDCar. Accordingly, the format will take place in a recurring rhythm, so that each partner will have the opportunity to present its research status. We are looking forward to more exciting round tables!
